*This position is for recruiting teachers with A-Level teaching experience.
Purpose of the Role
Under the overall guidance and direction of the Co Principals and section heads, play a key role in providing high-quality teaching and learning. Achieve high standards by responding professionally, sensitively, and caringly to the needs of all students, and demonstrate excellent knowledge, understanding, and skills of the relevant curriculum.
Key Duties
• Curriculum & Pedagogy: Design and deliver differentiated lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, promote critical thinking, and ignite intellectual curiosity. Create an inclusive, stimulating, and well-managed classroom environment where high expectations are set for both academic achievement and student behaviour.
• Student Growth & Assessment: Employ a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies to accurately measure student progress, identify learning gaps, and provide timely, constructive feedback. Utilize data from student tracking systems to inform instruction, ensure rigorous progress, and implement targeted support through Individual Education Plans (IEPs) where necessary.
• Collaborative Engagement: Proactively build strong, communicative partnerships with parents through informative reports and constructive dialogue. Work collaboratively as part of a professional team, establishing effective working relationships with co-teachers, specialist staff, and the wider school community to support holistic student development.
• Professional Excellence: Model the highest standards of personal and professional conduct for students. Engage actively in ongoing professional development to refine teaching practice and stay current with educational research. Contribute to the school's culture of continuous improvement through critical self-reflection and active participation in school initiatives. |
