Job Description: |
1. Introduce foundational digital literacy skills, including safe and responsible use of technology, online collaboration tools, and basic productivity software. 2. Teach creative technology skills, such as simple 3D modelling, introductory CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and digital prototyping, to build confidence in design and problem-solving. 3. Familiarise students with emerging technologies like AI, AR/VR, and the Internet of Things (IoT) in an age-appropriate way to spark curiosity and innovation. 4. Guide students in simple project management techniques, helping them plan, evaluate, and present technology-based solutions to real-world challenges. 5. Support interdisciplinary learning, integrating technology into collaborative STEM projects and fostering connections between subjects like Science, Math, and Design Technology. 6. Encourage ethical and responsible technology use, teaching young students about data privacy, digital citizenship, and appropriate use of online resources. 7. Provide hands-on experiences through age-appropriate tools, such as beginner-friendly design software or digital fabrication equipment, to develop foundational tech skills. |
